Mainframe Architect (37270)

Get ready for a game-changing career move. I am seeking a Senior Mainframe Architect who will take responsibility for the overall architecture and design Payments System. If you've got experience in COBOL/DB2 or Natural/Adabas and the ability to identify system improvements and design complex software solutions, this is the role you've been waiting for. To qualify, you must demonstrate strong analytic skills, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in English and German. Eligible candidates need to be strong team players and have displayed personal initiative. The ideal candidate will possess experience in IT Security, Java, Kafka, Kubernetes, and have previous work experience in the banking sector. 

🚀 Project
- responsibility for the architecture and design of the central Payments System
- analysis and evaluation of the existing system architecture and identification of improvement potentials and enhancements
- collaboration with the solution management team to design new technical solutions
- continuous review and updating of the system architecture 
- ensuring security, scalability, and performance of the Payments System

🎯 Skills
- experience as Mainframe Software Architect or similar position
- Natural/Adabas or COBOL/DB2
- expertise in designing and implementing concepts for complex software solutions
- problem-solving skills
- analytical thinking approach
- strong communication skills in English and German (at least B2 level)
- high personal initiative
- ability to work in a team and across a whole IT organization

💡 Nice to have
- experience in banks (Payments- or Coresystems)
