HR Expert (38407)

I am looking for an experienced HR Expert to manage payroll processes in a global, matrix organization. This role involves overseeing payroll activities, monthly controls, taxation and finance-related tasks, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with payroll vendors, initiate salary payments, and provide payroll reports. Fluency in German and English (C1) is essential, along with knowledge of SAP HR HCM. If you have a strong background in payroll, time administration, and HRIS systems, I'd love to hear from you.

🚀 Project
- payroll processes, such as pre- and post PY-run activities
- payroll monthly controls
- taxation and finance related activities (reconciliation, accruals, etc.)
- support legally required processes in close collaboration with payroll vendor
- initiate monthly salary payments accurately and on time
- extract reports needed for payroll and other reports upon request
- close collaboration with FRA, e.g., account reconciliation, accruals
- act as a “point of contact” person and subject matter expert for employees, leaders, and people partners in Payroll-related processes
- support in payroll projects

🎯 Skills
- HR Payroll or Time & Attendance Operations Experience in a global, matrix organization (pharma preferred)
- proficiency in German and English (C1) 
- knowledge of HR HCM SAP

💡 Nice to have
- relevant professional education, e.g., apprenticeship in business management or studies (Bachelor/Master in HR/Accounting/Business or related field preferred)
- 2-3 years professional experience with time administration and/or payroll and/or personal administration (SSC environment is an advantage)
- HRIS system knowledge and experience (SAP and Workday preferred)
- experience in other HR disciplines (e.g., Compensation & Benefits, HR Business Partner, Learning, Payroll, etc.)
