Fullstack Engineer (43342)

I am looking for a Fullstack Engineer to design and extend cloud-based solutions built on AWS, Python, React and Databricks. You will work on transformation engine development, GraphQL APIs and frontend solutions while contributing to architecture discussions, code reviews and infrastructure improvements.

🚀 Project
- design and development of a transformation engine based on AWS Step Functions orchestration, Lambda workers and Databricks write paths
- development and extension of GraphQL/AppSync API and React frontend used for creating mapping specifications
- ownership of infrastructure-as-code changes across service Terraform stacks and shared infrastructure
- participation in code reviews, architecture discussions and on-call rotation
- mentoring engineers who are newer to the technology stack

🎯 Skills
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- strong proficiency in Python, including Lambda Powertools, pytest/pytest-bdd and writing clean, testable code in a monorepo environment
- deep knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB and IAM, with the ability to consider cost, latency and failure scenarios
- experience with React
- experience with Databricks

💡 Nice to have
- experience with GraphQL / AppSync, including schema design, resolvers and integration with React applications
- experience with React + TypeScript and contributing to Vite/Cloudscape applications
- experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code in multi-stack environments
- knowledge of clinical data standards (CDISC SDTM, ADaM) or experience with regulated-industry software development (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11)
- understanding of event-driven and distributed system patterns (fan-out/fan-in, idempotency, at-least-once delivery)
